From Flu to Pneumonia

I really need some more prayers for Mike. He picked up the flu virus about a week and a half ago, and now it's pretty certain things have advanced to pneumonia. The doctors are doing various cultures and blood tests to determine exactly which virus or viruses he has in his body. He's being pumped with antibiotics and other meds. His most recent temperature was normal, but his temps have been going up and down for the past few days.
Please pray fervently for the following: permanent break in fevers, normal blood pressure and pulse readings, control of any viral or bacterial infections in the lungs and elsewhere, proper hydration (he's almost passed out twice from dehydration), the direction and wisdom of the doctors and nurses who are treating him.
It goes without saying that pneumonia is never a good thing, but with his blood counts still bottomed out from his most recent chemo, he needs lots of help (both medically and divinely) fighting off this infection. Obviously the cancer is a secondary threat at this point, but please pray for the healing of that as well, as he is unable to get chemo while fighting this infection.
