We're Still Alive

I have been a horrible blogger. Forgive me. Most of the past five weeks has been spent just enjoying having Mike home, and watching him improve dramatically from the flu and pneumonia. His lung capacity is nearly normal, and the biggest issue now is just getting him to regain his stamina and leg strength since he lost a lot of muscle in the hospital. But to look at him and be around him, you'd never know he went to hell and back a couple months ago.
He re-started his out-patient chemo on March 5, and so far it hasn't destroyed his blood counts. The counts were even good enough to allow us to get away last weekend to see my family for a few days.
There is not much new to report other than that. We still struggle with the "are we doing the right thing with this chemo" question, and still continue to seek God's will for the future. If you could please pray for our guidance and direction, that would be greatly appreciated.
I realize this blog has become more of a "health" blog in recent months, and I do want to get back to blogging more about our desire to become parents, as that desire still weighs heavily on our hearts. But for now, I wanted to at least let people know that we're still here, and doing well.
