The final pathology is in -- it's the same lymphoma.
Tomorrow morning, when were were supposed to be meeting with our new RE, we will instead be at the hospital so Mike can get a PET/CT scan. We will meet again with the doctor next Wednesday.
Our fifth wedding anniversary is also tomorrow.

Stunned
Last Friday, Mike had a liver biopsy which was supposed to confirm his doctors' strong suspicions that recent elevated liver levels were the result of a mild graft-versus-host reaction to his stem cells. Instead, his doctor told him a few hours ago that the biopsy showed cancerous cells in the liver. This was never even supposed to be a possibility. This can't be happening. We keep waiting for someone to call and say they switched his results with someone else's and that everything is fine.
We don't know what to do. We are simply stunned. I feel sick, confused, terrified -- like I'm walking through a nightmare. After all my strong talk about my faith, I have to even wonder at this point if God exists.
I don't know what else to say. Once again, our world has crashed in on us. If you want to pray for us, that's fine. I don't even know if I believe in it anymore.

She's Home!
Thanks for the prayers, everyone. Nana came home today. They did a million and one tests, and the results that have come back so far have been good. It doesn't look like there was any internal bleeding going on. Phew.
